Ethereum above ___ on July 20?: how this market works
What you need to know
These are three separate yes/no questions about where the price of Ethereum (ETH) will sit at one specific moment: noon Eastern Time on July 20, 2026. Each question picks a different price level, $1,800, $1,900, or $2,000, and asks simply: will ETH be above that number at that exact time? A Yes means ETH cleared the threshold; a No means it did not. The market currently prices those three levels very differently, reflecting how much harder each higher bar is to clear. Settlement is decided by one single data point: the closing price of the ETH/USDT one-minute candle at exactly noon Eastern Time on July 20, 2026, as recorded on the Binance exchange. If that closing price is strictly higher than the threshold (for example, $1,800.01 counts, but $1,800.00 does not), it resolves Yes. If Ethereum is at or below the threshold at that moment, it resolves No. Only Binance ETH/USDT counts here, not Coinbase, Kraken, or any other exchange or trading pair. The only nearby news provided is about SSV Network, a different crypto project, briefly hitting $2.00. That has no direct connection to Ethereum's price. There is no relevant recent news provided for this market. The kind of development worth watching would be major Ethereum network upgrades, broad crypto market moves, or significant regulatory news that could shift ETH's price leading into July 20. Crypto prices can move sharply in short periods, so even a market priced at 92% carries real risk. The $1,800 threshold is priced with high confidence by the market, suggesting ETH is currently trading well above it, but a sudden broad market selloff could change that quickly. The $1,900 level at 28% and $2,000 at 1% reflect how much harder each extra hundred dollars is to guarantee. The single-minute snapshot rule adds a small extra wrinkle: a brief price spike or dip right at noon could matter.
