EWC Dota 2 Winner

What you need to know

This market is asking: which Dota 2 team will win first place at the 2026 Esports World Cup? The EWC is a major annual esports event held in Saudi Arabia, and Dota 2 is one of the featured games. A 'Yes' for any listed team means that team finishes at the top of the tournament. The market currently lists three main contenders — Team Yandex, PARIVISION, and Team Falcons — with the remaining probability spread across other teams not individually listed. The market settles on whichever team officially wins first place at EWC Dota 2, which is scheduled to run July 7–19, 2026. The official EWC website is the primary source, though credible news reporting can also confirm the result. One edge case worth knowing: if two teams somehow tie, the winner is decided alphabetically by team name — which is unusual and worth keeping in mind. If the tournament is cancelled or delayed past August 2, 2026, the market resolves as 'Other' regardless of any partial results. None of the provided news headlines relate to Dota 2, the Esports World Cup, or any of the teams listed. There is no relevant recent news to report here. The kinds of developments worth watching would be team roster announcements, qualifier results, or any official updates from EWC organizers about the tournament schedule or format. Dota 2 tournaments are genuinely hard to predict — upsets are common, and tournament performance can shift dramatically based on patch changes to the game, team roster moves, or even a single elimination-bracket loss. The field appears fairly open here: the market's leading team sits at only 32%, meaning the combined probability of someone else winning is about 68%. With the tournament still ahead and no recent competitive news available, there is real uncertainty spread across multiple strong teams.
