EWC League of Legends Winner
What you need to know
This market is asking which team will win the 2026 Esports World Cup (EWC) League of Legends tournament. A Yes for any listed team means that team finishes in first place at the event. The three teams currently leading the odds — Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports (both from South Korea), and Bilibili Gaming (from China) — are the frontrunners, but other teams are competing too, represented by the implied remaining probability. The market settles on whichever team wins first place at the EWC League of Legends tournament, scheduled for July 15–19, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The official EWC website is the primary source. One notable edge case: if the event is cancelled or pushed past August 2, 2026, the market resolves as 'Other' — not to any specific team. A tie is broken alphabetically by team name, though that would be an unusual outcome in a tournament format. None of the provided news headlines relate to the EWC League of Legends tournament or the teams involved. There is no relevant recent news to point to here. The kinds of updates worth watching for would be roster announcements, results from warm-up tournaments, or any schedule changes to the EWC event itself. Three teams are bunched closely together between 24–28%, which tells you the market genuinely sees this as open. Korean and Chinese teams have historically dominated international League of Legends, but tournament upsets happen regularly in esports — a single bad series can eliminate a favorite. The tournament is also just five days long, meaning there is little room to recover from an early stumble. With the event starting July 15, 2026, there is still time for roster changes or patch updates to shift team strengths before it begins.

How this resolves
This market will resolve according to the team winning 1st place at the 2026 EWC League of Legends Tournament, currently scheduled for July 15 - July 19, 2026. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If the competition is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the winner of EWC League of Legends is not determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the EWC website (https://esportsworldcup.com/en/competitions/2026/league-of-legends). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
