Highest temperature in Ankara on July 13?
What you need to know
This market is asking: what will the hottest reading of the day be in Ankara on July 13, 2026? Specifically, it uses the weather station at Ankara's Esenboğa International Airport as the measuring point. The three options — 31°C, 32°C, or 33°C — are the possible peak temperatures, and you're choosing which single-degree bucket the thermometer tops out in that day. Think of it as guessing the afternoon high on a summer day in Turkey's capital. After July 13, 2026 ends, whoever runs this market checks the Weather Underground website for the Esenboğa Airport station and reads the single highest temperature logged that day, rounded to a whole degree Celsius. Whichever option — 31°C, 32°C, or 33°C — contains that number wins. One small but important detail: the market waits until the first data point of July 14 appears before settling, to make sure the full day's readings are captured. The two news items provided are unrelated to Ankara's weather — one is a crime story, the other a political story from India. There is no relevant recent news to point to here. What would actually matter is any extended weather forecast for Ankara around July 13, or data on historical temperatures at that station during mid-July. Weather forecasting is genuinely hard even days out, let alone a year in advance. The market currently leans toward 32°C with about 70% confidence, but a single hotter-than-usual afternoon or an unexpected weather system could shift the peak by a degree or two. Mid-July in Ankara is reliably hot, but exact daily highs vary. The airport station's readings can also differ slightly from city-center temperatures, so the specific measurement location adds a small extra layer of unpredictability.
