Highest temperature in Atlanta on June 15?
What you need to know
This market is asking: how hot will Atlanta get on June 15, 2026? Specifically, it's asking which temperature range will contain the single highest reading of the day — think of it as the peak afternoon heat. The ranges on offer are roughly 82–83°F (warm), 84–85°F (pretty hot), and 86–87°F (quite hot). A "Yes" for any given range means Atlanta's thermometer tops out inside those two degrees on that specific day. After June 15, 2026 ends, whoever runs this market checks the official weather record for Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport on Wunderground — a widely used weather data site. Whatever the highest single temperature reading was that day (rounded to a whole degree), the range containing that number wins. The airport station is the one source that counts — no other Atlanta weather stations or apps apply. Any small data corrections made before June 16's first reading are accepted; corrections after that are ignored. No recent news was provided that relates to Atlanta weather or this market. The one headline given — a helicopter collision in Brazil — has no connection here. The kind of news that would matter is a long-range weather forecast for Atlanta around June 15, 2026, or a notable shift in seasonal climate patterns for the U.S. Southeast. Weather prediction more than a few days out is genuinely hard, even for professional meteorologists. June in Atlanta is reliably warm, which is why most of the market weight sits in the 82–87°F zone — but the exact peak on a single day can shift several degrees based on cloud cover, wind, or a passing storm. The spread across three ranges (each at 20–35%) reflects real uncertainty: the market sees a clear most-likely zone but no dominant answer, which means a lot can still change as the date approaches.
