Highest temperature in Beijing on July 13?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on July 13, 2026, how hot will Beijing get at its peak? Specifically, it's asking which temperature bucket — 34°C, 35°C, or 36°C (roughly 93°F, 95°F, or 97°F) — will match the single highest temperature recorded that day at Beijing Capital International Airport. Think of it as picking the top number on a thermometer for one summer afternoon in Beijing. The market settles based on the highest temperature logged at Beijing Capital International Airport on July 13, 2026, as reported by the weather site Weather Underground. It uses whole numbers only — so a reading of 34.7°C would count as 34°C. The data is locked in once the first reading from July 14 appears on that site, after which no corrections count. Whoever's temperature bucket matches that peak number wins. No relevant recent news was provided for this market. The kind of thing worth watching closer to the date would be seasonal weather forecasts for Beijing in mid-July, or any meteorological outlooks for unusual heat patterns in northern China that summer. July in Beijing is reliably hot, but the exact daily peak is genuinely hard to pin down a year in advance — even professional forecasters struggle beyond a week or two. The market currently splits fairly evenly between 34°C and 35°C, reflecting real uncertainty across a narrow range. A single unusual weather system, cloud cover, or wind shift on that one day could easily push the temperature into a different bucket. The tight spread between options means small atmospheric changes decide the outcome.
