Highest temperature in Beijing on June 11?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on June 11, 2026, how hot will Beijing get? Specifically, it's asking you to pick the peak daytime temperature — the single highest reading of the whole day — at Beijing's Capital International Airport weather station. The three choices are 31°C (about 88°F), 32°C (about 90°F), or 33°C (about 91°F). A "Yes" for 31°C means the day's hottest moment lands in that range, and so on for the others. After June 11, 2026 ends, whoever runs this market checks the Weather Underground website for Beijing Capital International Airport (station code ZBAA) and reads off the single highest temperature recorded that day, rounded to a whole number in Celsius. Whichever bracket — 31°C, 32°C, or 33°C — contains that number wins. One timing note: the market won't officially settle until at least the first data point from June 12 appears on that site, confirming the day is fully logged. Late corrections to the June 11 data are only counted if they happen before that June 12 data point is published. No relevant recent news was provided for this market. That's normal for a weather question set more than a year out — meaningful forecasts for a specific day don't exist that far in advance. What would matter closer to the date: seasonal weather outlooks for northern China in early June, and any signs of unusual heat patterns in the region as the date approaches. Weather is genuinely hard to predict even a week out, let alone over a year away. Early June in Beijing is warm and variable — 31°C, 32°C, and 33°C are all plausible, normal temperatures for that time of year, which is exactly why the three options are so closely priced. A passing cloud system, wind direction, or a late-spring heat surge can easily shift the peak reading by a degree or two. The market is fairly spread across the three options, honestly reflecting that no one can know yet.
