Highest temperature in Busan on July 15?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on July 15, 2026, what will the hottest recorded temperature of the day be in Busan, South Korea? Specifically, it uses readings from a weather station at Gimhae International Airport, which sits near the city. Participants pick a temperature — 32°C, 33°C, or 34°C — and the one matching the actual peak reading that day wins. To picture the stakes: 33°C feels like a hot, humid summer afternoon; 34°C is noticeably more intense, the kind of heat that makes shade feel urgent. At the end of July 15, 2026, whoever runs this market checks the Weather Underground website for the Gimhae Airport station and reads the single highest temperature recorded that day, rounded to a whole degree Celsius — no decimals. Whichever bracket (32°C, 33°C, or 34°C) contains that number wins. One important detail: the market waits until the first data point for July 16 appears before officially settling, to allow any last-minute corrections to July 15's data to be counted. After that cutoff, no revisions matter. No recent news was provided that relates to this market. Since the event is more than a year away, the most relevant things to watch closer to the date would be South Korean summer weather forecasts, regional heatwave alerts, and historical temperature records for Busan in mid-July — none of which can meaningfully be assessed this far out. Weather prediction a year in advance is genuinely not possible with precision — even professional forecasters work reliably only days ahead. The market's three options are fairly close together: just two degrees separates the lowest from the highest. Busan's July climate is consistently hot and humid, which is why all three options cluster in the low-to-mid 30s, but whether any given day hits 32°C or 34°C can depend on passing weather systems, wind direction, or cloud cover that nobody can foresee today.
