Highest temperature in Chongqing on July 13?
What you need to know
This market is simply asking: how hot will Chongqing get on July 13, 2026? Specifically, it's asking you to pick which temperature bucket — 37°C, 38°C, or 39°C — will match the single highest reading of the day at the city's Jiangbei Airport weather station. In everyday terms, 38°C is about 100°F — a genuinely scorching summer day. The market is currently leaning toward 38°C as the most likely peak, with 37°C as the second guess and 39°C as the outside chance. The market settles based on the single highest temperature recorded at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport on July 13, 2026, as reported by Weather Underground. The number used will be a whole-degree Celsius reading — no decimals. Whichever bucket (37°C, 38°C, or 39°C) that peak temperature falls into wins. One important detail: the market waits until the first data point from July 14 appears on the site before finalizing, to make sure the full day's readings are in. The two news items provided are about education policy in India and have no connection to Chongqing weather. There is no relevant recent news to point to here. What would actually matter is closer-range weather forecasts for Chongqing in mid-July 2026, or reports of unusual heat patterns in central China as the date approaches. Weather is genuinely hard to pin to a single degree on a specific future day. Chongqing is one of China's hottest summer cities, so the 37–39°C range is historically reasonable for mid-July — but the exact peak can shift based on cloud cover, wind, or a passing weather system that nobody can predict a year out. The three buckets are close together, meaning a difference of just one degree changes the outcome entirely. The market prices 38°C as most likely, but the spread across all three options reflects real uncertainty.
