Highest temperature in Dallas on July 15?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on July 15, 2026, what will the hottest temperature of the day be in Dallas, Texas? The answer gets sorted into one of several two-degree ranges — the current leading options are 88–89°F, 86–87°F, and 90–91°F. Think of it as a temperature bracket for a single summer afternoon in one of America's hottest major cities. Whichever bracket contains the actual peak temperature that day wins. At the end of July 15, 2026, someone checks the Weather Underground website for the Dallas Love Field weather station and reads the single highest temperature recorded that day, rounded to a whole number in Fahrenheit. Whichever two-degree range that number falls into is the winner. The market waits until the first data point for July 16 appears on that site before settling — meaning it holds open just long enough to confirm the full day's readings are in. The two news items provided are about Malaysian politics and have no connection to Dallas weather. There is no relevant recent news to point to here. What would actually matter to watch closer to the date: any extended heat forecasts for North Texas in mid-July, or unusual weather patterns like a heat dome forming over the southern plains. Mid-July in Dallas is reliably hot, which is why the market clusters tightly around 88–91°F rather than spreading widely. The main uncertainty is that daily peak temperatures still vary by several degrees depending on cloud cover, wind, humidity, and passing weather systems — none of which are predictable a year out. The three leading ranges together cover only six degrees, so a slightly cooler or hotter day than average would push the answer outside all of them entirely.
