Highest temperature in Helsinki on July 14?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on July 14, 2026, what will the single highest temperature of the day be at Helsinki's main airport? July 14 is midsummer in Finland, so temperatures are at their annual peak — but Helsinki's summers can range from cool and rainy to genuinely warm. The three main options are 23°C (about 73°F), 24°C (about 75°F), or 25°C (about 77°F), with 24°C currently the crowd favourite. You're essentially guessing that day's afternoon high, rounded to the nearest whole degree. The market settles based on whatever peak temperature Weather Underground records for Helsinki Vantaa Airport Station on July 14, 2026 — measured in whole degrees Celsius, no decimals. Whichever listed temperature range that peak falls into wins. Settlement happens once the first data point from July 15 appears on the site, locking in the final reading. One nuance: if Weather Underground revises the temperature during the day of July 14, that revision counts — but any correction made after July 15's data appears does not. There's no specific recent news available for this market. That's normal this far out — July 2026 weather forecasts don't exist yet. What would matter closer to the date: extended weather forecasts for southern Finland in mid-July, and whether an unusually warm or cool air mass is sitting over the region that week. Weather is genuinely hard to predict even a few days out, let alone over a year away. The market is priced around 24°C, but the real spread covers roughly 22°C to 26°C on a typical Helsinki July day — any of those is plausible. A passing cloud system, a shift in wind direction, or a heat wave could easily push the answer a degree or two in either direction. At this range of temperatures, a single degree makes all the difference between options, which makes the outcome quite sensitive to conditions no one can foresee today.
