Highest temperature in Helsinki on June 11?

100%Updated 3 min ago

What you need to know

This market is asking: how warm will Helsinki get on a single day — June 11, 2026? Specifically, it wants to know the highest temperature reached that day at Helsinki's main airport weather station. The three options are 17°C, 18°C, or 19°C — that's roughly 63°F, 64°F, or 66°F — which is a fairly normal range for early June in Helsinki, a city where summers are mild and somewhat unpredictable. Settlement depends on the peak temperature logged by the Helsinki Vantaa Airport weather station on June 11, 2026, as reported by Weather Underground. Whatever the single highest reading is that day — rounded to a whole degree Celsius — determines which option wins. The market won't officially close until at least one data point from June 12 appears on that page, confirming the previous day is complete. Any corrections made before that cutoff count; corrections after do not. No relevant recent news was provided for this market. For a single-day weather question more than a year away, what would actually matter is the seasonal forecast for Finland in June 2026 — but reliable forecasts that far out simply don't exist yet. Closer to the date, regional weather outlooks and jet stream patterns would become the most useful things to watch. A year-out weather forecast for one specific day is genuinely very hard to pin down — daily temperatures even in well-understood climates carry real randomness. The market prices 18°C as the most likely outcome at around 72%, reflecting historical norms for early June in Helsinki, but a cool front or a warm spell could easily shift the reading by a degree either way. At this time horizon, the honest answer is that no forecast model can reliably distinguish between 17°C and 18°C on one future afternoon.
