Highest temperature in Kuala Lumpur on July 14?

99%Updated 3 min ago

What you need to know

This market is asking: on July 14, 2026, how hot will it get in Kuala Lumpur? Specifically, it wants to know whether the single highest temperature of that day at Kuala Lumpur International Airport lands at 33°C (about 91°F) or reaches 34°C (about 93°F). Think of it as guessing the peak of the day — the hottest moment, not an average. At the end of July 14, 2026, whoever runs this market checks the Weather Underground website for the Kuala Lumpur Airport station and reads the highest recorded temperature for that day, in whole degrees Celsius. If it shows 33°C, the 33°C option wins. If it shows 34°C, that one wins. The reading is locked in once the first data from July 15 appears — after that, any later corrections to the data don't count. None of the recent news provided relates to Kuala Lumpur's weather or temperature on this date. The headlines cover unrelated topics like refugees, local politics, and international stories. What would actually matter here is a weather forecast or meteorological report for KL on July 14 — that kind of information wasn't provided. Kuala Lumpur is hot and humid year-round, so the temperature range is fairly narrow — which is why the market is heavily skewed, pricing 33°C at 86% and 34°C at 13%. The main uncertainty is simply whether an unusually warm day pushes the peak one degree higher than typical. Day-to-day weather variation, cloud cover, and afternoon storms can all shift the peak reading. The margin between the two outcomes is just one degree, so even small atmospheric changes matter.
