Highest temperature in Kuala Lumpur on June 12?

What you need to know

This market is asking: on June 12, 2026, what will be the single hottest temperature reading of the day at Kuala Lumpur's main airport? The answer choices are different temperature levels — 32°C, 33°C, or 34°C — and whichever one matches the actual recorded peak wins. Think of it like guessing the highest point on a thermometer for that one day. Kuala Lumpur is a hot, humid city near the equator, so daily highs in the low-to-mid 30s Celsius are completely normal year-round. The market settles based on one specific reading: the highest temperature logged at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (station code WMKK) on June 12, 2026, as shown on Weather Underground. It uses whole numbers only — so 32.7°C would count as 32°C, not 33°C. The result is locked in once the first data point for June 13 appears on that site. Any corrections made before that cutoff count; corrections after do not. There's no human judgment involved — it's purely the number on that page. No relevant recent news was provided for this market. That's fairly normal for a weather question set over a year in advance. What would matter closer to the date: seasonal weather pattern forecasts for Malaysia in June, any El Niño or La Niña conditions developing, and short-range weather forecasts for Kuala Lumpur in the days leading up to June 12, 2026. Weather is genuinely hard to predict even a few days out, let alone over a year away. Kuala Lumpur's daily highs cluster in the 32–34°C range, which is exactly why the three options are so close together — and why this is a real toss-up. A single passing cloud, an afternoon rainstorm, or slightly different wind conditions can shift the peak temperature by a degree or two. The market currently leans toward 33°C at 45%, but the gap between outcomes is narrow enough that almost anything seems plausible.
