Highest temperature in London on June 11?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on June 11, 2026, what will the single highest temperature of the day be in London? The three options are 15°C (about 59°F), 16°C (about 61°F), or 17°C (about 63°F) — a fairly cool, typical early-June range for London. Whichever one matches the actual peak temperature recorded that day wins. It's essentially a weather forecast turned into a multiple-choice question about a specific thermometer reading on a specific date. The market settles based on the highest temperature recorded at London City Airport (station code EGLC) on June 11, 2026, as shown on the weather history website Wunderground. The reading is rounded to the nearest whole degree Celsius — so 16.7°C would count as 17°C, for example. One important detail: the result is locked in once the first data point for June 12 appears on that site. Any corrections Wunderground makes before that moment count; corrections after do not. No relevant recent news was provided for this market. Because the event is over a year away, the most useful things to watch closer to the date would be long-range weather forecasts for London in early June 2026, and any notable climate patterns — like a warm or cold spring — that develop in the weeks before. Weather is genuinely hard to predict even a few days out, let alone a year away. Early June in London is mild but variable — a sunny stretch could push the day to 17°C or beyond, while a cloudy, cool front could keep it at 15°C. The three options are separated by just one degree each, which is a very thin margin. A single passing cloud or shift in wind direction can be the difference. The market currently leans toward 16°C, but all three outcomes remain plausible.
