Highest temperature in Panama City on July 15?

What you need to know

This market is asking: on July 15, 2026, what will the hottest moment of the day be in Panama City, Panama? The three options are 32°C, 33°C, or 34°C — roughly 90°F, 91°F, or 93°F. You're not predicting the average temperature for the day, just the single peak reading. The market currently leans toward 33°C as the most likely answer, but 34°C is close behind, and 32°C is considered less likely. The market settles based on one specific data source: the Weather Underground page for the Marcos A. Gelabert International Airport station in Panama City. Whatever single highest temperature that page shows for July 15, 2026 — measured in whole degrees Celsius — determines the winner. The market won't finalize until the first reading from July 16 appears, meaning late corrections on July 15 still count. If the peak lands at, say, 33.7°C, it rounds to 33°C, not 34°C — the criteria use whole numbers only. None of the provided news headlines relate to Panama City weather, temperature forecasts, or regional climate conditions. No relevant recent news was shared for this market. What would actually matter here is a seasonal forecast for Panama in mid-July, or any unusual weather pattern — like an El Niño or La Niña signal — affecting Central America around that date. Weather forecasting a year in advance is genuinely hard. Panama City in July sits in its rainy season, which means cloud cover and afternoon rain can cap peak temperatures — but some days are hotter than others depending on how much sun breaks through. The three leading options span just a 2°C range, which is a very small window. A single unusually sunny afternoon or an unexpected storm could shift the outcome. The market is split fairly evenly across those three degrees, which honestly reflects how unpredictable a single day's peak temperature is.
