Highest temperature in Qingdao on July 13?
What you need to know
This market is asking: what will the hottest temperature of the day be in Qingdao, China on July 13, 2026? Qingdao is a coastal city in eastern China. The three options — 26°C, 27°C, or 28°C — represent different possible peak temperatures, roughly 79°F, 81°F, and 82°F. You are essentially guessing which of those three narrow bands the day's single highest reading will land in, as measured at the city's main airport weather station. The market settles based on the single highest temperature reading recorded at Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport on July 13, 2026, pulled from the Weather Underground website. Whichever option — 26°C, 27°C, or 28°C — contains that recorded number wins. The temperature is rounded to a whole degree, so a reading of 26.7°C would count as 26°C, not 27°C. The market won't officially close until the first data point from July 14 appears on the site, locking in the final reading. No relevant recent news was provided for this market. The one headline listed appears to be completely unrelated to weather in Qingdao. To watch for things that would genuinely matter here: any seasonal forecasts for eastern China in mid-July, or news about unusual weather patterns affecting the region around that date, would be the most useful signals. Even on a specific day in a specific city, pinpointing the exact peak temperature within a two-degree window is genuinely difficult. July is Qingdao's summer, but the city's coastal location means sea breezes can keep temperatures lower than inland areas nearby — which is probably why the market clusters around 26–27°C rather than higher. The honest challenge is that weather forecasts a year out are essentially meaningless, and even a day before, a single cloud pattern can shift the peak reading by a degree or two.
