Highest temperature in Qingdao on July 15?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on July 15, 2026, what will the hottest temperature of the day be in Qingdao, China? Qingdao is a coastal city in eastern China, and the measurement comes from its main international airport weather station. The market offers several possible answers — 27°C, 28°C, 29°C, and likely others — and whichever one matches the actual peak temperature that day wins. Think of it like guessing the high on a weather forecast, but for one specific future date. The market settles based on the single highest temperature recorded at Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport on July 15, 2026, as shown on Weather Underground's history page for that station. The reading is rounded to the nearest whole degree Celsius — no decimals. The market waits until the first data point for July 16 appears on that page, then locks in whatever the daily peak was. Any late corrections to the July 15 data are accepted only within that window; after July 16 data appears, the number is final. There is no relevant recent news provided for this market. The one headline listed is about an education policy in India and has no connection to Qingdao or its weather. For this kind of market, what would actually matter is seasonal weather pattern forecasts for eastern China in mid-July, or any unusual climate events affecting the region as the date approaches. Weather is genuinely hard to predict more than a few days out, and this date is still about a year away. The market spread across 27°C, 28°C, and 29°C — each priced between 20–28% — reflects real uncertainty: Qingdao's July temperatures typically cluster in this range, but the coast moderates heat unpredictably. A hot inland air mass, a sea breeze, or a passing weather system can each shift the peak by a degree or two. With this much time remaining, the current odds are essentially an educated historical guess.
