Highest temperature in Singapore on July 14?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on July 14, 2026, what will the single hottest temperature of the day be at Singapore's Changi Airport weather station? The three options are 31°C, 32°C, or 33°C — each representing a one-degree range. Think of it as guessing the peak of the afternoon heat on that specific day, measured at one specific weather station near the airport. After July 14, 2026 ends, the market checks the Weather Underground website for the highest temperature logged at Changi Airport Station that day, rounded to the nearest whole degree Celsius. Whatever single peak number appears — say, 32°C — that option wins. One important detail: the market waits until the first data point of July 15 appears before settling, so any late corrections to July 14's readings still count up until that moment. None of the news provided is related to Singapore's weather or temperature conditions. No relevant weather reports or forecasts were included. The kind of news that would actually matter here is a Singapore meteorological forecast for July 14, or any reports of unusual heat or rain patterns in the region around that date. Singapore sits near the equator, so July temperatures are fairly consistent year to year — which is exactly why the market is so concentrated around 32°C at 77%. The main genuine uncertainty is day-to-day variation: cloud cover, rain, or an unusually dry stretch can shift the peak by a degree either way. At these odds, the real question isn't which side to pick — it's simply whether the day turns out slightly hotter or cooler than the typical pattern.
