Highest temperature in Taipei on July 13?
What you need to know
This market is asking: how hot will Taipei get on July 13, 2026? Specifically, it wants to know the single highest temperature recorded that day at one weather station — Taipei Songshan Airport — and which degree Celsius bucket it lands in. A 'Yes' on 35°C means the peak temperature that day was 35°C exactly. A 'Yes' on 34°C means the hottest moment of the day hit 34°C. Think of it like guessing the top of the thermometer for one summer day in Taiwan. The market settles based on the highest temperature recorded at Taipei Songshan Airport on July 13, 2026, as shown on Weather Underground's historical records for that station. The reading is rounded to a whole number in Celsius — no decimals. Whichever temperature bucket (33°C, 34°C, 35°C, or another) matches that peak reading wins. The market waits until the first data point from July 14 appears on that page before officially closing, giving time for any last-minute corrections to the July 13 data. No recent news was provided for this market. That makes sense — July 13, 2026 is still well in the future, so no weather readings exist yet. What would matter to watch closer to the date: seasonal forecasts for Taipei in mid-July, any unusual heat events in the region, or updates from Taiwan's Central Weather Administration about expected temperatures that week. Mid-July in Taipei is reliably hot — historically the city often sees highs in the 33–36°C range that time of year — but pinning down a single day's exact peak is genuinely difficult. Weather is inherently variable: a passing cloud, a brief rain shower, or a slightly stronger sea breeze can shift the daily high by a degree or two. The market currently leans toward 35°C at 41%, but the neighboring buckets are close enough that a small swing in conditions could easily change the outcome. One degree is a very thin margin.
