Highest temperature in Taipei on July 14?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on July 14, 2026, how hot will it get in Taipei? Specifically, it wants to know the single highest temperature reading of that day at a specific weather station — Taipei Songshan Airport. The three choices are 34°C, 35°C, or 36°C (roughly 93°F, 95°F, and 97°F). You're picking which of those three temperature bands the peak reading will fall into. Think of it as guessing the hottest point of one summer afternoon in Taipei. The market settles based on the highest temperature recorded at Taipei Songshan Airport Station on July 14, 2026, as shown on the weather history site Wunderground. Whatever whole-number Celsius reading is the day's peak — say, 35°C — the matching answer wins. One edge case worth knowing: the result isn't locked in until the first data point from July 15 appears on that site, meaning late corrections to July 14's readings can still count right up until that moment. No relevant recent news was provided for this market. What would actually matter to watch closer to the date is any seasonal forecast for Taiwan in mid-July 2026 — particularly whether a heat wave, typhoon, or unusual weather pattern is expected around that time, since those can push temperatures noticeably above or below the typical summer range. Mid-July in Taipei is reliably hot and humid, so the question isn't really whether it'll be warm — it will be. The uncertainty is about the narrow bands separating the choices. A single degree Celsius is a small margin, and daily peak temperatures can shift based on cloud cover, wind, or a passing rain shower. The market currently leans toward 35°C at 41%, but 34°C and 36°C together account for nearly as much. A year out, no forecast can reliably distinguish between outcomes this close together.
