LEC 2026 Summer Split Winner

36%sportsUpdated 2 min ago

What you need to know

This market is asking which team will win the LEC Summer Split in 2026 — the top professional League of Legends tournament in Europe. The LEC (League of Legends EMEA Championship) crowns a champion at the end of its Summer Split season. A 'Yes' on any listed team means that team lifts the trophy; the market lets you pick from the favorites, with G2 Esports currently seen as the frontrunner at 41%, followed by Karmine Corp at 25% and Movistar KOI at 15%. The market settles on whichever team is officially declared the LEC 2026 Summer Split champion by Riot Games, the company that runs the league. The result must be confirmed before December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET — if the split is canceled or delayed past that date, every outcome resolves as 'Other'. There is also an unusual edge case: if two teams were somehow both declared winners, the market would go to whichever team name comes first alphabetically — a rare scenario, but worth knowing. None of the provided news headlines relate to the LEC, League of Legends esports, or any of the teams in this market. There is no relevant recent news to point to here. The kinds of updates that would matter are roster changes, team performance in earlier 2026 splits, or any official announcements from Riot Games about the Summer Split schedule. G2 Esports has historically been Europe's most successful LEC team, which explains their lead in the odds, but esports rosters shift constantly — player transfers, form slumps, and new talent can flip standings quickly. The 2026 Summer Split likely hasn't started yet, meaning months of competition remain. Karmine Corp has a passionate fanbase and has grown as a competitive force. Fifteen percent of implied probability is spread across the field too, so upsets are a real part of the picture here.

How this resolves

This market will resolve according to the winner of the LEC 2026 Summer Split (LEC) 2026. If the 2026 LEC Summer Split is postponed after December 31, 2026 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared in this timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. If multiple teams are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed team name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Riot Games (https://lolesports.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
