What will be the #2 US Netflix movie this week?
What you need to know
This market is asking which specific movie will land in the second spot on Netflix's official weekly U.S. Top 10 list. It's not about the most-watched film — just the runner-up. A Yes for any listed title means that exact movie finished second in U.S. views for the week; everything else falls under 'Other,' which is a catch-all for any movie not explicitly named in the market. Netflix publishes its weekly Top 10 list at top10.netflix.com, usually on Tuesdays around 3:00 PM ET. This market settles based on whichever movie appears in the #2 spot on the July 14, 2026 update, covering views from the prior Monday–Sunday. One important edge case: if Netflix doesn't publish that update by July 17, 2026 at midnight ET, the whole market automatically resolves as 'Other' — regardless of what was actually watched. None of the provided news headlines relate to Netflix viewership, new movie releases, or anything that would help predict which film lands at #2 this week. The kind of news that would matter here would be a major Netflix film launch, a viral moment around a specific movie, or Netflix releasing early viewing data — none of which appear in what's been shared. Weekly Netflix rankings are genuinely hard to predict because viewership shifts fast and depends on factors that are difficult to track in advance — a new release dominating, a movie going viral on social media, or a title getting a sudden cultural moment. The listed titles (Enola Holmes 3, Retribution, Gone Girl) together account for only about 12% of market odds, meaning the market strongly expects the answer to be something not yet named. That alone signals how wide open this question is.

How this resolves
Resolves July 14, 2026
Netflix is expected to update its Top 10 movies list on top10.netflix.com on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, 3:00 PM ET, reflecting viewership from the previous week (Monday to Sunday). This market will resolve based on which movie this update ranks as the #2 US Netflix movie. The ranking is based on total views in the United States, as reported by Netflix for US Top 10 Movies. If the top10.netflix.com update does not occur by July 17, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".
