Will Microstrategy announce selling any Bitcoin July 7-13?
What you need to know
This market asks one simple question: did MicroStrategy (now called Strategy Inc.) publicly announce that it sold any of its Bitcoin during the week of July 7–13, 2026? A Yes means they sold at least some Bitcoin and said so officially. A No means they stayed silent on selling — which, for this company, is the normal state of affairs, since MicroStrategy is famous for buying and holding Bitcoin, not selling it. The market settles Yes only if Strategy Inc. or Michael Saylor officially announces a Bitcoin sale made during that specific week — midnight ET on July 7 through 11:59 PM ET on July 13. The announcement itself must also fall within that window. If a sale happened but wasn't announced until after July 13, it would not count. The source of truth is official company communications or statements from Saylor directly, not third-party reports. None of the recent headlines provided relate to MicroStrategy or Bitcoin selling activity this week. The stories cover blockchain in trade and a nuclear energy IPO — unrelated topics. There is no news to point to here. The kind of development that would matter is any official filing, press release, or statement from Strategy Inc. or Michael Saylor announcing a Bitcoin sale. The market is priced at 90% No, which reflects a strong historical pattern: MicroStrategy has famously never sold its Bitcoin and has publicly committed to a long-term holding strategy. That makes a sale genuinely surprising — but not impossible. A sudden financial emergency, a regulatory requirement, or an unexpected company need could force a sale. The main uncertainty is not whether two sides are equally plausible; it is simply whether an unusual, unexpected event occurs in one specific week.
