Clarity Act signed into law in 2026?

What you need to know

This market asks whether a specific U.S. crypto law will actually get passed and signed before the end of 2026. The bill, called the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (H.R.3633), is meant to set clearer rules for how cryptocurrencies are regulated in the United States. A Yes means it fully clears Congress — both the House and the Senate — and the president signs it into law. A No means it stalls, fails, or simply doesn't finish the process in time. For this to resolve Yes, the exact bill — H.R.3633 — must pass both the House of Representatives and the Senate, then be signed by the president, all before midnight on December 31, 2026. Every step must complete. If the bill passes only one chamber, or gets stuck in negotiations, or the year runs out before it's signed, it resolves No. The result will be confirmed using the official Congress.gov tracker and other government sources. No specific recent news about this bill was provided. In general, the things worth watching for are: committee votes advancing the bill, the Senate scheduling a floor vote, or the White House publicly signaling support or opposition. Any of those developments would be meaningful signals about whether this has a realistic chance of finishing the process by December 2026. Major U.S. legislation is genuinely hard to pass — that's why the market currently sits at only 33%, meaning most participants think it won't happen in time. Congress often moves slowly, and crypto regulation has been debated for years without becoming law. The Senate is typically where bills stall. That said, political momentum around crypto has shifted recently, so the door isn't closed. The core uncertainty is legislative timing and political will, both of which can change quickly and unpredictably.
