Highest temperature in Amsterdam on June 14?

What you need to know

This market is asking a simple weather question: how hot will Amsterdam get on June 14, 2026? Specifically, it wants to know the single highest temperature of the day at Schiphol Airport — and whether that peak lands at 16°C, 17°C, or 18°C. Think of it like guessing the afternoon high on a weather app, but for one specific day. The market currently leans toward 17°C (around 49%) as the most likely outcome, with 18°C close behind at 41%. This settles based on whatever peak temperature Weather Underground records for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Station on June 14, 2026. The number is rounded to the nearest whole degree Celsius — so 17.6°C would count as 18°C, and 17.4°C would count as 17°C. It cannot close until the first temperature reading from June 15 appears on the site, locking in the final June 14 data. Any corrections made after that cutoff are ignored, even if Weather Underground later updates the record. The news provided today has no connection to Amsterdam weather — it's all about higher education topics from around the world. There's no relevant weather news to point to here. What would actually matter for this market is any detailed meteorological forecast for Amsterdam on or around June 14, 2026, particularly any weather patterns or pressure systems tracking across the Netherlands in mid-June. Weather on a specific future day is genuinely hard to pin down, even close to the date — and this market ends a full year from now, making precision forecasting essentially impossible at this stage. The spread between 17°C and 18°C is just one degree, which is a razor-thin margin. A passing cloud, a shift in wind direction, or a slightly different sea-breeze pattern could be the entire difference. Mid-June in Amsterdam averages around 18–19°C historically, but any given day can swing several degrees in either direction.
