Highest temperature in Miami on June 12?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on June 12, 2026, how hot will Miami get at its peak? There are three possible ranges — 86–87°F, 88–89°F, or 90–91°F — and whichever range contains the actual high temperature that day wins. It's essentially a thermometer bet on a single summer afternoon in Miami. The market currently splits most of its weight between the two warmer bands, with 88–89°F leading at 50% and 90–91°F close behind at 42%. On June 12, 2026, whoever runs this market will look up the official peak temperature recorded at Miami International Airport (station KMIA) on Weather Underground. Whatever whole-number Fahrenheit reading shows as the day's high falls into one of the three ranges, and that range wins. One small timing detail: the market waits until the first data point for June 13 appears before officially settling, to allow any same-day corrections to the temperature reading. After that cutoff, no further revisions count. No recent news was provided that's relevant to this market. That's pretty normal for a weather question more than a year away — there's nothing meaningful to report yet. What would matter closer to the date: seasonal forecasts for South Florida in early June, and any signs of unusual heat patterns in the Atlantic or Gulf region heading into that week. Weather is genuinely hard to predict more than about two weeks out, let alone over a year away. June in Miami is reliably hot and humid, which is why the cooler range (86–87°F) gets only 8% — but the difference between 88°F and 91°F on any given afternoon can hinge on cloud cover, sea breeze timing, or a passing storm. None of those factors are knowable this far in advance. The market is not a coin toss — it leans clearly toward the two warmer bands — but within that, the gap between the top two options is genuinely open.
