Highest temperature in Seattle on June 14?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on June 14, 2026, how hot will it get in Seattle? Specifically, it's asking which two-degree range will contain the day's peak temperature — think of it like a guessing game for the afternoon high. A reading of 86°F, 87°F, 88°F, or 89°F would land in the two leading ranges, while anything hitting 90°F or 91°F would fall in the third. The market is currently split almost evenly between the mid-80s and high-80s. The market settles based on the single highest temperature recorded at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (station code KSEA) on June 14, 2026, as reported by Weather Underground. Whatever the peak reading is that day — in whole degrees Fahrenheit — determines which range wins. The result is locked in once the first data point for June 15 appears on the site. One thing to note: any late corrections to June 14's readings are only counted if they happen before that June 15 data point appears. The three headlines provided — about hypocrisy, education and CSS failures, and UAE foreign policy — have no connection to Seattle weather or this market. There is no relevant recent news to point to here. What would actually matter to watch is any extended forecast for Seattle around June 14, 2026, particularly whether a heat ridge or marine layer pattern is expected in the Pacific Northwest that week. Weather is genuinely hard to predict more than a few days out, and a single day's high in Seattle is especially tricky because the city sits between cool ocean air and inland heat. A marine layer can hold temperatures in the low 80s; a shift in wind direction can push them past 90°F. The market reflects real uncertainty: the two leading ranges are nearly tied. Since we are still roughly a year away from the date, long-range forecasting adds very little precision — the outcome depends on conditions that haven't formed yet.
