Will Anthropic extend Claude Fable 5 paid-plan access again by July 19?
What you need to know
This market asks whether Anthropic will announce another extension — beyond July 19, 2026 — letting subscribers on standard paid plans (Pro, Max, or Team) keep using Claude Fable 5 within their normal monthly allowance, without needing to spend extra usage credits. Think of it like a streaming service keeping a show available on your regular subscription instead of moving it to a pay-per-view tier. Yes means another extension is announced. No means Fable 5 transitions to the credits-only system as currently scheduled. This settles Yes if, before 11:59 PM ET on July 19, 2026, Anthropic officially announces that Claude Fable 5 remains in the standard usage allowance for at least one of the Pro, Max, or Team plans — without requiring usage credits for basic access. An extension only for Enterprise customers does not count. The key thing is that regular paid subscribers can still use Fable 5 as part of what they already pay for. Anthropic's official channels decide it; credible reporting also counts. None of the recent headlines provided relate to this market. There are no news items about Anthropic, Claude, or AI pricing changes in the provided list. The most relevant thing to watch for would be an announcement from Anthropic's official channels — particularly their X account (@claudeai) or website — about Fable 5 access terms before the July 19 deadline. The market is almost evenly split at 55% Yes, which reflects genuine uncertainty. Anthropic already extended access once on July 12, and companies sometimes extend again rather than forcing a sudden change. But that same logic could cut the other way — each extension delay makes the eventual transition more disruptive, so Anthropic may simply let the deadline stand this time. The decision rests entirely with one private company, and there's no public signal yet about their intentions, making this genuinely hard to call.

How this resolves
Resolves July 19, 2026
On July 12, 2026, Anthropic announced that it was extending access to Claude Fable 5 on all paid plans through July 19, 2026, ahead of the previously scheduled cutoff after which the model would move to usage-credit-only billing (https://x.com/claudeai/status/2076351399999557669). This market will resolve to "Yes" if Anthropic announces a qualifying extension of access to "Claude Fable 5" beyond July 19, 2026, by the listed date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." A qualifying extension requires Fable 5 to remain included in standard usage limits, without requiring usage credits for baseline access, on at least one of the Pro, Max, or Team plans. An extension covering only the Enterprise plan does not qualify. The percentage cap itself is irrelevant to qualification (higher, lower, unchanged, or removed all count), so long as some portion of the included allowance can be spent on Fable without drawing from a usage-credit balance. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Anthropic; however, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
