World Cup: Player to be in the USA's Starting 11

100%sportsUpdated 7 min ago

What you need to know

This market asks whether a specific player — Tim Ream, Chris Richards, or Antonee Robinson — will actually be on the pitch when the USA kicks off their very first game at the 2026 World Cup. A Yes means that player starts the match; a No means they don't, whether due to injury, tactical choice, or anything else. Each player has their own separate Yes/No question. The market settles Yes only if the player is physically on the field at kick-off of the USA's first group stage match at the 2026 World Cup. If a player is named in the starting lineup but gets injured in the warm-up and replaced before the whistle blows, that still counts as No — announcement alone is not enough. The deadline for confirmation is June 29, 2026. If the tournament is cancelled or delayed past that date, everything resolves No. None of the provided news headlines relate to this market — they cover unrelated topics like music, cars, and business. There is no recent relevant news to point to here. The kind of news that would matter is any USMNT roster announcement, injury update for these players, or confirmation of the USA's opening match opponent and date. At 100% odds, the market is pricing each of these three players as a near-certainty to start — meaning participants collectively see almost no realistic chance they won't. The remaining uncertainty is thin but real: a last-minute injury, sudden illness, or unexpected tactical decision could still change things before kick-off. The strict rule that a player must be on the pitch at kick-off — not just named — adds one more small way a Yes could slip to No.

How this resolves

Resolves June 13, 2026

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed player takes the field as a member of the USA's official starting lineup for the first group stage game the nation plays at 2026 FIFA World Cup. Otherwise, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If a player is officially announced as part of the starting lineup but is replaced before the game begins for any reason, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". Only players that are on the pitch at kick off will be counted toward a "Yes" resolution. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled, postponed after June 29, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the listed player cannot be confirmed as a part of the USA's official 1st match starting lineup for the 2026 FIFA World Cup within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source for this market will be information from FIFA (https://www.fifa.com/), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
