Resolution Criteria

The 2026 New Caledonia provincial elections are currently scheduled to be held on June 28, 2026. This market will resolve to the next individual who officially assumes the office of President of the Government of New Caledonia by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET. To count for resolution, the individual must be officially appointed and sworn in as President of the Government of New Caledonia. Any interim or caretaker President will not count toward the resolution of this market. If no such President takes office by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Government of New Caledonia (https://gouv.nc/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
