Round of 32

Understand this market
This market is asking how far Ivory Coast will go in the 2026 FIFA World Cup before they get knocked out. The World Cup in 2026 is expanding to 48 teams, which means there is a new opening round called the Round of 32 — so Ivory Coast could exit earlier than in past tournaments. A 'Round of 32' result means they lose in the very first knockout game. 'Round of 16' means they win one game but lose the next. 'Quarterfinals' means they reach the last eight teams. The market currently prices their most likely exit as that first round.

Resolution Criteria
This market will resolve according to the stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup at which Ivory Coast is eliminated. If Ivory Coast wins the tournament, this market will resolve to 'Champion'. If Ivory Coast is disqualified, withdraws, is removed from the tournament, or the tournament is partially completed and not finished for any reason, this market will resolve according to the furthest completed round reached by Ivory Coast based on the best available official information. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled in full, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to 'Other'. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
