Pro Football: 2026-27 Rushing Touchdowns Leader: how this market works
What you need to know
This market is asking which NFL running back will score the most rushing touchdowns during the entire 2026-27 regular season. A 'Yes' for a specific player means that player crossed the goal line on the ground more times than anyone else in the league by the end of the season. Right now, three players are roughly tied as the market's top picks: Josh Jacobs, Derrick Henry, and Jahmyr Gibbs, each sitting around 13-14% odds, meaning no one is a clear favorite. The winner is whoever has the most rushing touchdowns in the 2026-27 NFL regular season, based on official NFL statistics. If two players tie on touchdowns, the tiebreaker goes to total rushing yards, then yards per carry, and if still tied after all that, the market settles as 'Other' rather than picking one player. The market closes January 12, 2027, but has until January 26, 2027 to confirm the result. If the season is cancelled entirely, it also resolves to 'Other'. None of the provided news headlines relate to this market. They cover unrelated topics like technology, politics, and entertainment. To track this market meaningfully, you would want to watch for NFL training camp updates, injury reports heading into the 2026 season, and early-season game stats once play begins in the fall. This is genuinely wide open, which is why the top three players each sit at only around 14%. Rushing touchdown leaders change year to year based on injuries, offensive line performance, team game plans, and how often a team gets inside the opponent's five-yard line. Any of the top backs could get hurt, lose their starting role, or simply have an off year. The season also hasn't started yet, so there is nearly a full year of unknowns ahead, which makes early predictions especially fragile.
