What price will Bitcoin hit on July 20?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market is asking whether Bitcoin's price will touch specific dollar levels on July 20, 2026, with three price targets being tracked: $63,000, $65,000, and $66,000. A 'Yes' for any target means Bitcoin's price reached that level at least once during the day. A 'No' means it never touched that number. The market currently thinks $65,000 is the most likely level Bitcoin hits that day, with 52% odds, while $66,000 is seen as a stretch at 13%. Each price target resolves Yes if, at any single minute on July 20, 2026 (midnight to 11:59 PM Eastern Time), Bitcoin's price on Binance's BTC/USDT pair touches or crosses the target, even briefly. Just one minute is enough. The data source is strictly Binance, using one-minute price candles. Prices from Coinbase, Kraken, or any other exchange do not count, even if Bitcoin trades at a different level there simultaneously. None of the provided news headlines are directly relevant to Bitcoin's price on July 20, 2026. The headlines cover Malaysian fuel policy, Middle East oil tensions, and US import prices from June. Worth watching in general: any major macroeconomic announcements, regulatory news about crypto, or sudden shifts in broader financial markets could move Bitcoin significantly on any given day. Bitcoin is genuinely hard to predict over any specific day. Its price can swing thousands of dollars in hours based on news, large trades, or market sentiment shifts that no one sees coming. The gap between $63,000 and $66,000 is meaningful but not huge for Bitcoin, meaning a single volatile session could make all three targets resolve the same way. The market is also over a year away, so conditions today tell us very little about what July 20, 2026 will actually look like.
