What price will Ethereum hit on July 22?: how this market works

55%cryptoUpdated 6 min ago

What you need to know

This market is asking whether Ethereum's price will touch specific levels on July 22, 2026, with three separate targets: below $1,900, above $1,950, or above $2,000. Each target is its own yes-or-no question. A 'Yes' simply means ETH's price touched that number at any point during the day. A 'No' means it never reached that level. Think of it like asking whether a thermometer will hit a certain degree at any moment during the day, not just at the end. Each price target resolves 'Yes' the moment Ethereum's price on Binance's ETH/USDT chart touches the target level at any point between midnight and 11:59 PM Eastern Time on July 22, 2026. The platform checks one-minute candles, meaning price is sampled every minute all day. Even one brief spike or dip to the target number is enough to trigger a 'Yes'. Prices from other exchanges do not count, and only Binance's official ETH/USDT pair is used. One relevant headline notes that cryptocurrencies slipped on July 22, 2026, amid an oil price spike and caution around big tech. That suggests some downward pressure on ETH specifically on the resolution date. The other headlines cover gold in Pakistan, currency moves in Malaysia, a car price hike in India, and Florida news, none of which are relevant to Ethereum's price. Crypto prices can move sharply within a single day, so touching a price level briefly is easier than sustaining it, which makes each target more reachable than it might seem. The market currently prices all three targets as meaningful possibilities, with the two closer levels near 48% each. The same-day news about crypto slipping adds a real but unknown amount of downward pressure. How much ETH moves on any given day depends on global sentiment, news, and trading volume, all of which are genuinely hard to forecast.
