Total commitments for the TownSquare public sale on Sonar: how this market works
What you need to know
This market asks how much money people will pledge to buy into TownSquare, a project doing a public token sale on a platform called Sonar. Three separate yes/no questions are bundled here, each with a different dollar threshold: will total pledges exceed $500,000, $750,000, or $1,000,000? A 'Yes' means enough people committed enough money to cross that line. A 'No' means the fundraise fell short, was cancelled, or couldn't be verified in time. The market settles based on the 'committed' figure shown on TownSquare's official sale page. If that number ever hits the threshold before August 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time, the market resolves Yes, even if people later cancel or ask for refunds. If the sale is cancelled, postponed past that date, or the page becomes permanently unavailable, all thresholds resolve No. Extensions are fine: pledges made during any extended sale period still count. None of the recent news provided is related to TownSquare, Sonar, or this fundraise. To follow this market, the thing worth watching is the live commitment figure on townsq.xyz/sale, and any official announcements from TownSquare about the sale opening date or status. The market currently prices the $500k threshold at 99% and $1M at 86%, so participants are treating these as very likely outcomes. The main remaining uncertainty is not about competing scenarios but about whether something unexpected derails the sale entirely: a technical problem, a regulatory issue, a cancellation, or the sale page going dark. For the $1M threshold specifically, there is slightly more genuine uncertainty about whether momentum carries that far.
