What price will Solana hit on July 21?: how this market works

11%cryptoUpdated 4 min ago

What you need to know

This market is asking whether Solana's price will touch a specific dollar level at any point during July 21, 2026. There are three separate price targets: $80, $75, and $70. A 'Yes' for any one of them means Solana briefly reached that level or higher (for upward targets) or lower (for downward targets) at least once during that day, even for just one minute. It is not about where Solana closes the day, just whether the price touched that threshold at any moment. The market settles based on one specific data source: the SOL/USDT trading pair on Binance, using one-minute price candles. For the $80 target, it resolves Yes if any single one-minute candle's high price reaches $80 or above on July 21, between midnight and 11:59 PM Eastern Time. For downward targets like $75 or $70, it resolves Yes if a candle's low price touches that level or below. Prices from other exchanges, like Coinbase or Kraken, do not count, even if Solana trades at a different level there. None of the recent headlines provided relate to Solana or the broader cryptocurrency market. The news covers chipmaking prices, Treasury yields, and retail collections. There is no crypto-specific news here to point to. The kind of news that would matter for this market includes major announcements about Solana's network, broad crypto market sentiment shifts, or large regulatory developments affecting digital assets. Solana's price can move sharply and quickly, which cuts both ways: a sudden spike or drop can cross a threshold that seemed far away just hours before. The $80 target carries a 22% probability according to the market, meaning most participants currently think it will not be reached, but that is not a certainty. The single biggest challenge is that crypto prices are sensitive to unpredictable events, including macro news, large trades, and sentiment shifts, none of which can be reliably forecast a year in advance.
