What price will Ethereum hit on July 21?: how this market works

41%cryptoUpdated 6 min ago

What you need to know

This market is asking whether Ethereum's price will touch a specific level, either above or below, during one particular day. There are two directions here: one asks if ETH will reach at least a certain high price, and another asks if it will drop to a certain low price. For example, the '1,900 down' option asks whether ETH will dip to $1,900 or lower at any point on July 21, while the '2,000 up' and '2,050 up' options ask whether ETH will climb to those levels or higher. Each option settles based on Binance's ETH/USDT price data, looking at one-minute candle charts during July 21 from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM Eastern Time. For an upward target, it resolves Yes if any single one-minute candle's highest point touches or exceeds the target price. For a downward target, it resolves Yes if any candle's lowest point touches or goes below the target. Only Binance ETH/USDT data counts. Other exchanges or trading pairs are ignored entirely, which is worth knowing. None of the provided news headlines relate directly to Ethereum or cryptocurrency markets. The headlines cover chipmaking prices, electric vehicles, fuel costs, gold, and car pricing. If you are watching for news that would actually matter here, look for crypto-specific developments: major regulatory announcements, large exchange events, or broad market moves that tend to pull ETH price sharply up or down. Crypto prices can move sharply within a single day, which makes any specific price target genuinely hard to call. ETH only needs to touch a level for one minute to resolve Yes, so even a brief spike or dip counts, making the bar easier to reach than people might assume. But the direction and size of any move on one specific future date is deeply unpredictable. The market currently prices the $1,900 downside at 27% and the upside targets much lower, reflecting where participants think ETH is most likely to wander.
