Elon Musk # tweets August 1 - August 3, 2026?: how this market works

What you need to know

This market is asking how many times Elon Musk posts on X during a specific 48-hour window: from noon on August 1 to noon on August 3, 2026. The brackets are the three possible outcomes: fewer than 40 posts, between 40 and 64 posts, or between 65 and 89 posts. To put that in perspective, 40 to 64 posts over two days means roughly 20 to 32 posts per day, which is already a very active posting pace for most people. The market settles based on a post-counting tool at xtracker.polymarket.com, which tracks Musk's main feed posts, quote posts, and reposts during that exact window. Replies do not count, but replies that appear on the main feed do. Deleted posts count if the tracker captured them within about five minutes. The key deadline is noon Eastern Time on both August 1 and August 3, not midnight, so the window is exactly 48 hours in the middle of those two days. There is no specific recent news available for this market. The most useful things to watch for closer to the date would be major news events that might prompt heavy posting from Musk, or any announced travel or public appearances that could mean he is less active online during that specific 48-hour period. Musk's posting volume is genuinely unpredictable from week to week. His activity tends to spike around breaking news, political moments, or product launches, and it can drop sharply if he is traveling or focused elsewhere. There is also a structural quirk here: replies do not count, but main-feed replies do, and the line between those can be blurry. The market currently splits its weight mostly between the two middle and higher ranges, suggesting the crowd sees heavy posting as more likely than a quiet stretch, but a single unusual day could easily shift the total.
