Ethereum above ___ on July 27?: how this market works

What you need to know

These markets ask a simple question: will Ethereum's price be above a specific dollar amount at exactly noon Eastern Time on July 27, 2026? There are three versions, one for each price level: $1,400, $1,500, and $1,700. A Yes outcome means ETH is trading above that number at that specific moment. A No means it is at or below it. Think of it like a snapshot, not an average: only that one moment counts. Settlement is decided by one single data point: the closing price of the ETH/USDT one-minute candle at noon Eastern Time on July 27, 2026, as recorded on the Binance exchange. If that number is strictly higher than the threshold ($1,400, $1,500, or $1,700), the market resolves Yes. If it is exactly equal to or lower than the threshold, it resolves No. Only Binance's own data counts here, not prices from Coinbase, Kraken, or any other source. No relevant recent news was provided for this market. The kinds of developments worth watching over time would include major shifts in Ethereum's network activity, broader crypto market trends, regulatory news in large economies, and macroeconomic conditions that affect risk assets generally. Ethereum is currently priced well above all three thresholds, which is why the market prices each one at around 99%. The real uncertainty here is not a close call between Yes and No. It is the small but real possibility of an extreme, unexpected event: a severe market crash, a major exchange failure, or a catastrophic technical incident that could push ETH far below current levels before July 2026. That kind of tail risk is what keeps even a 99% market from being 100%.
