FedEx Cup Playoffs: Winner: how this market works
What you need to know
This market is asking which golfer will win the 2026 TOUR Championship, the final tournament of the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup Playoffs. The TOUR Championship is an elite event where only the top 50 players in the FedEx Cup standings get to compete. A Yes on a specific player means that player lifts the trophy at East Lake Golf Club. A No means they fell short, withdrew, or did not make it into the field at all. The market settles based on the official winner posted on the PGA Tour website after the 2026 TOUR Championship concludes. If a named player does not participate, gets disqualified, or is eliminated before play, their market resolves No immediately. If someone not listed in this market wins, the result is Other. There is a deadline of September 15, 2026, after which any unresolved result also becomes Other. Ties follow official PGA Tour tiebreak rules. None of the provided news headlines relate to golf, the FedEx Cup, or any of the players listed. There is no relevant recent news to point to here. The kinds of developments worth watching would be player injury updates, FedEx Cup standings as the Playoffs progress, and any news about a player's form heading into the final event. Golf tournaments are genuinely hard to predict even one week out, and this event is still in the future. The TOUR Championship also uses a staggered starting score system based on FedEx Cup standings, which means the leader going in starts with an advantage on the leaderboard. The field is small but packed with elite players. Scottie Scheffler leads at 24%, meaning the market sees him as the most likely winner, but that still leaves a 76% chance it goes to someone else.
