What price will Solana hit in August?: how this market works

86%cryptoUpdated 4 min ago

What you need to know

This market is actually three separate questions bundled together: will Solana's price touch $70 (or drop below it), touch $80 (or rise above it), or drop to $60 (or below) at any single moment during August 2026. Each price level is its own Yes or No question. A 'Yes' on the $80 market means Solana briefly reached at least $80 at some point in August. A 'No' means it never got there, even for one minute. Each market settles based on one specific data source: the SOL/USDT trading pair on Binance, checked at the one-minute candle level. For the upside targets ($80), it resolves Yes if the highest price in any single one-minute window touches or exceeds that number. For the downside targets ($70, $60), it resolves Yes if the lowest price in any one-minute window touches or goes below that number. Only Binance data counts. Other exchanges or trading pairs are ignored entirely. The window is all of August 2026. None of the recent news provided relates to Solana or cryptocurrency markets. There are no relevant headlines to draw on here. The kinds of developments worth watching for would be major crypto regulatory news, large exchange announcements, broader market moves in Bitcoin, or any Solana-specific technical or adoption news. Crypto prices can move sharply and unpredictably, which is the core challenge. The market prices the $70 downside touch at 82%, the $80 upside touch at 43%, and the $60 downside touch at 22%, suggesting participants see a downward lean but real spread across outcomes. With a full month of one-minute price checks, even a brief spike or dip counts, making it easier to hit a target than if only the closing price mattered. Macro news, sentiment shifts, or a single large trade can move things quickly.
