Will FaZe win a Tier 1 event in 2026?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market asks whether FaZe Clan, one of the most recognized teams in competitive CS2, will finish in first place at a major tournament at any point during 2026. A Yes means they win a championship at the sport's highest level this year. A No means they go the entire year without a top-tier title, whether because they kept falling short, struggled with roster issues, or simply faced stronger competition every time. The market settles Yes if FaZe's CS2 team wins first place at any S-Tier event listed on Liquipedia before December 31, 2026. S-Tier is Liquipedia's label for the biggest, most prestigious tournaments, think Major championships and top-level BLAST or ESL events. Online-only events do not count. If a tournament gets downgraded before it starts, that win would not count either. The result is confirmed through official announcements from the tournament organizers, not fan sites. None of the recent news provided relates to FaZe Clan, CS2, or esports in any way. The headlines are about unrelated topics. There is no recent information here to inform how FaZe has been performing. What would matter to watch: FaZe's tournament placements, any roster changes, and results at upcoming S-Tier events throughout the rest of 2026. The market prices this at around 21%, meaning it is seen as more likely than not that FaZe does not win a major title this year, but the outcome is far from settled. CS2's top tier is genuinely competitive, with several world-class teams capable of winning any given event. FaZe has historically been a contender, but rosters shift, form varies, and a full calendar year contains only a limited number of S-Tier events, so the window to qualify is real but not wide.
