Resolution Criteria

On Thursday, August 27, 2026, the Madison County Sheriff's Department in Indiana received reports of a loose lion, and a drone operator told authorities they had confirmed sighting both an adult lion and a cub in a field. Sheriff's deputies and state police searched Hancock and Madison counties, but a roughly four-hour search using ground units and thermal drones did not locate the animals. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be information from relevant law enforcement authorities and a consensus of credible reporting.
