Understand this market
This market is asking: which team will lift the MLS Cup trophy at the end of the 2026 season? The MLS Cup is the championship final of Major League Soccer, the top professional soccer league in the United States and Canada. A 'Yes' on a team means they win that final match; a 'No' means they don't — either they lose, get eliminated earlier in the playoffs, or never make the playoffs at all. Inter Miami is currently the market's favorite at 21%, meaning if you pooled all the bets, more money is on Miami than anyone else — but that still leaves a 79% chance spread across all other teams.

Resolution Criteria
This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026 MLS Cup. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2026 MLS Cup per the rules of MLS (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Background
The MLS Cup is the championship final of Major League Soccer, the top tier of professional football in the United States and Canada. The league has expanded significantly in recent years, now featuring 30 clubs with further expansion ongoing. Inter Miami CF attracted global attention following the arrival of Lionel Messi in 2023, transforming the club's commercial profile and competitive standing almost immediately. The 2025 MLS season saw continued competition among established powers and newer clubs alike. MLS operates a playoff system in which the top teams from both Eastern and Western Conferences compete in a knockout bracket culminating in the MLS Cup Final, typically held in late November or December.
Key factors
Inter Miami's elevated market position reflects both their squad depth and the broader attention the club has drawn in recent seasons, though MLS's single-elimination playoff format introduces significant variance — any contender can exit in a single match. Los Angeles FC have been consistent playoff contenders and possess the infrastructure to mount a deep run. Nashville SC's compact, well-organised side has demonstrated playoff resilience. The health and availability of key players throughout a long regular season and into the postseason is a critical variable for every club. MLS expansion and roster roster rules, including the Designated Player mechanism and Allocation Order, shape competitive balance in ways that can shift standings quickly. Confederation commitments — particularly CONCACAF Champions Cup fixtures — can affect squad rotation and fatigue for clubs competing on multiple fronts. The 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, may also create scheduling pressures that affect player availability for MLS clubs with international representation.
