Understand this market
This market asks which professional lacrosse player will win the Face-Off Player of the Year award in the 2026 PLL season. The PLL is the Premier Lacrosse League, the top professional lacrosse league in the United States. A face-off is the one-on-one ground-ball contest that restarts play after each goal, and specialists who excel at it can win this specific award. A Yes on any named player means that person wins the award; if someone not listed wins, the market settles as 'Other'.
The market settles to whichever player is officially named the 2026 PLL Face-Off Player of the Year, based on PLL announcement or credible reporting. The deadline is September 30, 2026: if the season is cancelled or no winner is declared by then, it resolves to 'Other'. If two players somehow tie and both are announced as winners, the one whose last name comes first alphabetically wins the market, which is a small but worth-knowing quirk.
None of the provided news headlines relate to the PLL, lacrosse, or the players listed in this market. There is no relevant recent news to point to here. The kind of developments worth watching would be mid-season face-off win-percentage stats, player injuries, or any early award voting news from PLL sources as the season progresses toward its fall conclusion.
Face-off specialists can be streaky, and a single player's dominance in one season does not guarantee the next. TD Ierlan leads the market at 35%, meaning the market sees him as the most likely winner but still gives a 65% combined chance to someone else, including players not individually listed. Injuries, rule changes, or a breakout performance from an unranked specialist could shift things significantly. The season runs through mid-September 2026, so there is still a full stretch of competition left to play out.

Resolution Criteria
This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 Face-Off Player of the Year award in the PLL. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by PLL rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 PLL season is cancelled, postponed after September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the PLL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
