Ethereum above ___ on July 21?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market is asking: where will Ethereum's price be on July 21, 2026? There are three separate price levels being tracked: $1,700, $1,800, and $1,900. For each one, a Yes means Ethereum is trading above that level on that date, and a No means it is at or below it. Think of them as three hurdles of increasing height, and the question is which ones ETH clears. Settlement is decided by one very specific number: the closing price of ETH against the US dollar on Binance, at exactly noon Eastern Time on July 21, 2026, using a one-minute price candle. Only Binance's own data counts here, not prices from Coinbase, Kraken, or any other exchange. If that single closing price is strictly higher than the stated threshold, it resolves Yes. At or below, it resolves No. One number, one moment. No relevant recent news was provided for this market. The kinds of developments worth watching over the coming year would include major Ethereum network upgrades, shifts in broader crypto regulation, changes in macroeconomic conditions like interest rates, and large institutional moves into or out of ETH. Cryptocurrency prices over a 12-plus month horizon are genuinely hard to forecast. The market currently prices the $1,700 hurdle at 99%, meaning traders see it as nearly certain, while $1,900 sits at only 21%, reflecting real doubt. The main uncertainty at lower thresholds is simply whether something unexpected and severe happens. At higher thresholds, normal market volatility over a year-long window is the core challenge. A lot can change in crypto in twelve months.
