Ethereum above ___ on July 22?: how this market works

100%cryptoUpdated 1 min ago

What you need to know

This is actually three separate markets bundled together, each asking whether Ethereum's price will be above a specific dollar level (1,800, 1,900, or 2,000) at one precise moment: noon Eastern Time on July 22, 2026. A Yes means ETH cleared that price level at that exact time. A No means it did not, even if it was above that level earlier the same day or just minutes later. Only that single noon snapshot counts. Settlement depends on one specific data point: the closing price of the ETH/USDT trading pair on Binance during the one-minute window that ends at noon ET on July 22, 2026. If that closing price is strictly above the threshold (1,800, 1,900, or 2,000 depending on the market), it resolves Yes. If it is at or below, it resolves No. Importantly, only Binance's own ETH/USDT price is used, not prices from Coinbase, Kraken, or any other exchange. No relevant recent news was provided for this market. The kinds of developments worth watching would be broad crypto market shifts, major Ethereum network upgrades, changes in U.S. regulatory policy toward crypto, or large macroeconomic events that tend to move risk assets significantly. Cryptocurrency prices are genuinely difficult to forecast more than a year out, which is why the three thresholds tell an interesting story on their own. The market currently treats 1,800 as nearly certain (96%), 1,900 as a coin flip (52%), and 2,000 as quite unlikely (5%). That spread shows how much uncertainty concentrates in a relatively narrow price range. A single large macro event, regulatory shift, or crypto-specific shock between now and July 2026 could move ETH hundreds of dollars in either direction.
