Pro Football: 2026-27 Touchdowns Leader (Team): how this market works

13%sportsUpdated 1 min ago

What you need to know

This market asks which NFL team will score the most offensive touchdowns across the entire 2026-27 regular season. Offensive touchdowns means points scored by the team's own offense, combining both passing touchdowns (a quarterback throws the ball into the end zone) and rushing touchdowns (a player runs it in). Whichever team has the highest combined total of those two types of scores when the regular season ends wins this market. A Yes for, say, the Cowboys means Dallas finishes first in that count. The market settles based on official NFL statistics at the end of the 2026-27 regular season, which runs through early January 2027. The team with the most passing plus rushing touchdowns wins. If two teams are exactly tied, the tiebreaker is total offensive yards, then yards per play, and only if all of that is still tied does it resolve to a catch-all 'Other' option. One important edge case: if the season is cancelled or its outcome is unclear by January 26, 2027, the market also resolves to 'Other' rather than a specific team. The news items provided do not relate to this market at all. They appear to be about wildfire assistance sent to Spokane, Washington, which has no connection to NFL touchdowns. There is no relevant recent news to report here. The kind of updates that would matter for this market include team offseason moves, quarterback changes, training camp news, and early-season scoring results once the 2026-27 NFL season begins. With 32 NFL teams competing over an 18-game regular season, the spread of outcomes is genuinely wide. The market reflects that by giving no team more than 14% odds, meaning the field is extremely open. Injuries to quarterbacks or star running backs can completely change a team's scoring output mid-season. Offensive schemes change, trades happen, and some teams surprise every year. The season has not yet started, so every team's chances are still heavily shaped by unknowns. That is why even the current frontrunners are priced well below 20%.
