Solana above ___ on July 22?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market asks whether the price of Solana (SOL), a cryptocurrency, will be above a specific dollar amount at exactly noon Eastern Time on July 22, 2026. There are two separate price targets here: one asking if SOL will be above $70 (the market currently implies a 97% chance of yes), and one asking if SOL will be above $80 (currently implied at 26%). A Yes means SOL is trading higher than that number at that exact moment. A No means it is at or below it. Settlement is determined by one single data point: the closing price of the SOL/USDT trading pair on Binance during the one-minute window starting at 12:00 noon Eastern Time on July 22, 2026. If that closing price is strictly higher than the target number, it resolves Yes. If it is equal to or lower, it resolves No. Only Binance's data counts here, not prices from Coinbase, Kraken, or any other exchange, so a price discrepancy between platforms would not change the outcome. No specific recent news was provided for this market. The kinds of developments worth watching for would be major shifts in broader crypto market conditions, significant regulatory announcements affecting Solana specifically, or large changes in network activity and adoption that could move SOL's price meaningfully between now and July 2026. Crypto prices are genuinely difficult to forecast more than a year out. The $70 target is priced at 97%, meaning the market sees a near-certain outcome there, so the real uncertainty is simply whether something unexpected and severe pulls the price down. The $80 target is much more open, priced around 26%, reflecting real doubt. Macro conditions, crypto-wide sentiment swings, regulatory changes, and technical developments on the Solana network are all unpredictable variables over a timeframe this long.
